Mary Earps ended up lifting two awards at the 2023 FIFA The Best Awards for her exploits with Manchester United. She took home the Goalkeeper of the Year award and was featured on the Team of the Year.

She got more votes and beat out both Cata Coll and Mackenzie Arnold to lift her awards. The past three years sure have been a roller coaster ride for the English goalkeeper. She has gone from contemplating retirement in 2021 to being the best goalkeeper in the world in 2024.

She delivered an emotional speech during her award acceptance and in her own words was blown away by the entire experience.

The Manchester United Women’s team is on top of the world with their players winning awards. However, the same cannot be said for the Men’s team who are currently in shambles.

Erik ten Hag’s squad has been knocked out of every major competition except the FA Cup which has now become their last hope at some silverware. Moreover, the team is currently sitting seventh in the Premier League table.

If the Dutchman fails to lead his team to European competitions this season will be counted as a failure. The clock is ticking for Erik ten Hag and he must rally his team to close out the season.
