Manchester United’s next FA Cup fixture will be decided by Newton vs Eastleigh
Manchester United will either be facing Newton or Eastleigh for their next FA Cup fixture. Erik Ten Hag’s side played a fine bout against Wigan Athletic to advance to the 4th round of the Cup.
After a long time, the Red Devils looked full of energy and played with a lot of confidence. There were plenty of good performances for the manager to be happy about.
Marcus Rashford has finally started to come to life and grabbed an assist during the game. Diogo Dalot struck true to find the corner of the net and looked very good throughout the game as well.
Alejandro Garnacho was fantastic on the right wing and created 3 chances for the team while putting 4 shots on goal (fot.mob). It was overall a very well-played match for the Old Trafford squad.
On the other hand, Newton County and Eastleigh F.C. fought each other to a draw. Manchester United will be happy to take on Eastleigh F.C. who looked like the weaker side against Newton but were able to come away with a draw after scoring on a penalty.
The Red Devils have never faced the National League club in any competition before. But, the team just doesn’t have what it takes to beat Manchester United in a 90-minute game.
Moreover, even the stronger side from yesterday’s game Newton County doesn’t look good enough to topple the Red Devils. However, since the team can be extremely inconsistent Eastleigh would be their preferred matchup.

No matter which of these two teams Erik Ten Hag faces, it will likely turn into a one-sided thrashing in favour of Manchester United.
The FA Cup is their last chance at lifting silverware this season. They will surely not let a National League team like Eastleigh or a tier two team like Newcounty take it away from them. Expect the team to look strong as they will be making a stand to save their season.
