Journalist has named the four board members who are expected to head INEOS following their Manchester United takeover

Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s company INEOS has taken control of Manchester United’s football operations. After the Glazers have run the club into the ground, INEOS is believed to be the saviour.

Many hope that the takeover will bring about a great number of changes. Although one change that was supposed to be the exit of the Glazers has already been confirmed to be a pipe dream.

But, not all is lost. The Old Trafford squad can finally get back on track now that the Glazers are not gonna be interfering with operations. Moreover, the club’s debt issues are also expected to go away soon.

Ben Jacobs has confirmed the names of INEOS’ board members who will soon be taking office at Manchester United.

The PLC board will be headed by John Reece and Rob Nevin. The latter has been part of the company for over 20 years and looks over their entire sports wing. He was also part of the delegation that met Old Trafford officials in March.

Reece on the other hand has also been a part of the company since 2000. He initially joined as their financial director and has since been promoted to the role of CFO. His net worth is somewhere in the neighbourhood of £6bn, as stated by Forbes

The UK board will feature the likes of Dave Brailsford and Jean-Claude Blanc. Sir Dave Brailsford was formerly the British Cycling Chief. His role at the club will mainly focus on developing the culture across Manchester United’s multiple teams.

The most exciting out of the bunch has to be Jean-Claude Blanc. Many believe that his wealth of experience and success will help him achieve great things as Manchester United’s CEO. He is deemed to be the true successor to David Gill.
