As reported by Metro, former Manchester United star Dimitar Berbatov will not be backing Ten Hag as the Red Devils gear up for a trip to Anfield. This will prove to be a crucial game for The Dutchman.

However, with the stakes as high as they are Manchester United does not have the support of their former star. Dimitar Berbatov revealed that he will be supporting ‘mad dogs’ Liverpool as his former club prepares for battle.

His words come at a tough time for Ten Hag and his men. Following their UCL exit the team must already be in shambles. Now, seeing them lose the support of their former striker will surely hurt morale.

Berbatov’s 2-0 prediction shows a clear lack of trust in Manchester United’s attack. Let’s have a look at what the former Bulgarian footballer had to say.

“I want to see Man United get into more goalscoring opportunities. I want to say Man United will score, but I think it may be too much for them this time.”

The Red Devils have struggled to score in the Premier League. But, that doesn’t mean they can’t find the back of the net. Despite being dead last in their UCL group Man United scored the same amount of goals as group toppers Bayern Munich.

After the game kicks off the results will mostly depend on the energy of Ten Hag’s men. The team looked lifeless when they went up against Bayern Munich on Tuesday.
