Eintracht Frankfurt chief not interested in €100 million offer for Randal Kolo Muani amidst Manchester United interest
Markus Krosche, the sporting director of Eintracht Frankfurt, is not interested in a €100 million offer for Randal Kolo Muani amidst interest from Manchester United.
The Red Devils, along with Premier League rivals Arsenal, are eyeing the France international. After Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit, the Old Trafford side are looking for reinforcements up top.
On the other hand, Mikel Arteta’s team are also in the market for a forward. The Gunners were handed a setback after Gabriel Jesus got injured at the 2022 World Cup.
However, speaking to Sky Sports (h/t Express), Krosche feels Frankfurt is the perfect place for the 24-year-old’s development. The Bundesliga outfit’s sporting director has dismissed talks of Kolo Muani departing for a huge fee.
“No! We have made it clear that we do not want to sell any top performers.
“There is no reason for that. It will stay that way. We are a good place for young players to develop. That has changed our perception both nationally and internationally.”
The France international signed for Die Adler in the previous transfer window. Since then, he has turned many heads. In the current campaign, the striker has found the back of the net eight times and has provided 11 assists in 23 appearances in all competitions.
Kolo Muani also shone for France at the 2022 World Cup. He played a pivotal role for Didier Deschamps’ team in the final against Argentina. The 24-year-old won the penalty for Kylian Mbappe’s first goal in the match. However, after a valiant comeback, Les Bleus lost in the penalty shootout.
United’s front line has lost depth after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure midway through the season. Now, Erik ten Hag only has one natural striker in Anthony Martial.
Apart from the former AS Monaco star, the Dutch manager has also relied heavily on Marcus Rashford to find the back of the net. The England international has been immense for the Red Devils in the current campaign.

Frankfurt seem to be unwilling to sell Kolo Muani. Even if they do, it looks like the German side will be looking for a huge payout. Thus, instead of focusing on signing the 24-year-old, it would be wise for the Old Trafford side to focus on other options.
