Manchester United planning ridiculous Harry Kane swoop
According to Fichajes (via Caught Offside) [h/t Manchester Evening News], Manchester United are planning a ridiculous swoop for Tottenham Hotspur superstar Harry Kane and want to bring the English national captain to Old Trafford.
Kane has a contract with Spurs until 2024. The Lilywhites are in a very good place right now, but if they fail to qualify for the Champions League next season, there is a chance that the 29-year-old superstar would want to leave.
The Tottenham star has been linked with an exit from Hotspur Way in the past but the striker has eventually ended up staying. Kane finally has a squad that can challenge for trophies now, but there are a few question marks.
Despite having scored so many goals season after season in the Premier League, Kane does not have anything to show for when it comes to a trophy cabinet and at 29, he will want to be able to rectify this before it is too late.
Manchester United are not the only club linked with the talented striker with Bayern Munich and Chelsea also said to be interested in the Spurs superstar. It remains to be seen how this transfer battle goes.
There is absolutely no doubt that the Red Devils absolutely need a player of Harry Kane’s quality and he could be the perfect replacement for 37-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo if the Portuguese superstar leaves next summer.
However, there are question marks over whether Kane will want to come to Man United after all. If the 29-year-old leaves, it would only be to go to a club where he can win a lot of trophies and the Red Devils have not been one such club in recent times.

Kane’s quality is something you cannot go wrong with. It remains to be seen how this transfer saga develops.
