Some Manchester United fans react as the Red Devils draw Aston Villa in the FA Cup Third Round

Manchester United will take on Aston Villa in an all-Premier League clash in the third round of the FA Cup at Old Trafford.

The match will see the Red Devils face off against a familiar foe in Steven Gerrard. The Liverpool legend has enjoyed an excellent start to life at Villa Park and has to his credit turned around the club’s fortunes.

He will take on one of the finest minds in world football when he faces off against Ralf Rangnick. The German too took over Man United midseason and has slowly yet steadily started to stamp his authority on the club.

With Man United already crashing out of the Carabao Cup and struggling in the Premier League, the FA Cup represents one of our best opportunities to win a trophy.

The task is not made easy with us having to play such a difficult opponent in our first match. But then if we have to beat the best, there is little time to complain about the hand that we have been dealt. With home comfort included, nothing less than a win will be expected of Rangnick’s boys.
