Watford are 3rd in the Championship table after 14 games, trailing the league leaders Norwich City by 2 points. 10 out of those 14 league matches have ended with neither team scoring more than one goal.
Watford were relegated from the Premier League last season but they still managed to beat Manchester United 2-0 at Vicarage Road in the league. They look like promotion hopefuls this year as they have conceded just 11 goals in their 14 matches while scoring 19 at the other end.
The Hornets play 9 times before their FA Cup Round 3 fixture against Manchester United on 9th January, which is one less than the 10 matches that the Red Devils will play in the same time period.
