Man United star has signed an extension with Adidas

Manchester United star, Scott McTominay took to Instagram to share news of a new extension with Adidas. It seems like the 27-year-old has found a lot of success both off the pitch and on it this season.

Through 36 appearances, McTominay has recorded nine goals and three assists this season. He has actually scored more goals than star, Marcus Rashford who currently only sits at eight goals scored.

Time and time again, the 27-year-old has been the star for Manchester United. He shows up to score goals or provide assists when the team needs him most. This is something that a lot of the big names on the Old Trafford squad fail to do.

As McTominay shared his news of a sponsorship extension with Adidas, the company also left a comment on his Instagram post. Adidas wrote that McTominay is simply “adding to his story”.

While Scott has been stellar this season, it is yet to be seen how much he will contribute during the final weeks. The 27-year-old was left out of the game against Liverpool due to an unknown injury and there has been no word on a return date.

However, if Man United haven’t been forthcoming with information it’s probably nothing serious and we should see him back in action soon. It’ll be interesting to see whether his new deal will result in a confidence boost for the 27-year-old.
