Man United received yet another injury blow.
As reported by The Sun, Manchester United star, Scott McTominay is set to miss the next three weeks of action. The Scottish midfielder has seven Premier League goals this season and has been one of Erik ten Hag’s most important players.
It is believed that Scott suffered from a hyperextended knee during the game against Chelsea. Now, the 27-year-old will be on the sidelines for at least the next 2-3 matches. Scott did not participate in the game against Liverpool and will likely not get to play against Coventry City either.
Erik ten Hag has already been dealing with a depleted squad and didn’t even have enough centre-backs to field a good team against Liverpool. Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw, and Jonny Evans are all on the injury list at the moment.

As the season enters its most crucial phase Erik ten Hag will be busy trying to find healthy players to field. It is a tough road ahead for United who are hopeful of qualifying for the UCL next season.
The team is currently sitting at sixth on the Premier League table and needs 11 points to catch up to Tottenham and Aston Villa. However, with just seven games left to go, this seems like an impossible task for the Dutchman.
Moreover, his chances of succeeding have been drastically reduced due to all the injuries on the squad. Who will show up in this tough time and become a hero for the Red Devils?
