Fans react as Manchester United unveil away kit for 2021-22
Manchester United have officially unveiled their away kit for this season in partnership with Adidas. Leaked images of the kit have been doing the rounds for a while now and the design has been confirmed after the release.
The shirt seems to be predominantly white and blue and is described as ‘snowflake’. The away kit is said to be inspired by the iconic Manchester United 1990-92 away kit. That shirt featured white and blue patterns and a red Manchester United logo.
The Adidas Trefoil logo is another iconic addition to the shirt. The montage features a plethora of first-team players sporting the kit. It pays homage to the academy graduates and local lads that have made it big in the side such as Rashford, Greenwood, Pogba and McTominay. Alex Telles, Eric Bailly and Daniel James are also seen in the kit.
There are clips of players from the 1990’s such as Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Nicky Butt and David Beckham as well. The jersey is described as a blend of the past and the future. The kits can be found on the Adidas website and the club’s official store.
Fans were left drooling on Twitter as Manchester United officially released their away kit for 2021-22.
