Twitter reacts as images of Manchester United third kit leaks online
According to Footyheadlines (h/t MEN), images of the Manchester United third kit have been leaked online.
The Red Devils have already unveiled their home and away kits. With the 2020-21 campaign nearing, it appears that the unveiling of the third kit is not far away either.
However, if the leaked images are to be believed, they are quite the eyesore. If looks could kill, anyone in this jersey would surely be taken in for mass murder.
The design follows a black and white zebra pattern that has been hitherto unseen before in a United kit.
The Adidas logo is stitched in the club’s traditional red colour while the United badge is embroidered on the opposite side. The logo of shirt sponsors Chevrolet is positioned underneath in the centre of the jersey.
The kit is reminiscent of the dazzling design used to camouflage ships at sea, especially during the second world war. Given the skill and pace our front three bring to the table, it is fair to say that the opponents won’t see them coming.
A number of United fans took to Twitter to react to the images. Most of them made a number of tongue in cheek comments. Some of them are on show below.

Psychologically poor choice of kit – zebras always get killed by lions and crocodiles on tv.

Maybe they’re going for a zebra crossing.

Perfectly illustrating how terrible Utd’s fullbacks are at supplying width and getting crosses in
Looks more Newcastle than Newcastle’s new strip

Looks like the dazzle camouflage they used on boats in WWII. Maybe they’re hoping to sneak past defences without being seen?; 😂

Wallpaper from the eighties 🤔

I wouldn’t like to wear that in a safari park, the lions will be licking their lips…

Well at least if your not sure who a player is, you’ll be able to scan them like a barcode to find out.

Looks like someone ran over it in a Chevrolet and dropped the badge

Get over yourselves. I care about the players wearing that shirt, the crest they rep, the style of play and finally the outcome of the matches. #GGMU

I love black jacks but making them into an ice-cream is all kinds of fucked. Whoever did this needs to be held accountable.
