Manchester United star, Scott McTominay took to Instagram to show appreciation for his team’s striker Rasmus Hojlund. The young Dane and the Scottish midfielder have both done a lot of heavy lifting for Erik ten Hag’s side this season.

In 31 appearances, Hojlund has recorded 13 goals and two assists for the Red Devils. He was red hot during the turn of the new year, but his six-game scoring streak came to an end after he picked up a muscle injury ahead of the Fulham game.

Manchester United dearly missed Rasmus Hojlund and lost their next two games to Fulham and Man City. However, the Dane marked his return during their FA Cup triumph over Liverpool and will be available for the upcoming games.

It was his winning goal against Aston Villa that turned around the Red Devils’ fortunes at the end of December. Manchester United will be expecting the same output from Hojlund as they now find themselves in a difficult situation.

With just a handful of games to go, the Red Devils are currently not on pace to play the UCL next season. Every game from now on will be a must-win for Erik ten Hag. The Dutchman will have to rally his team if he wants to make something of this season.

The team will surely be looking forward to big contributions from both Rasmus Hojlund and Scott McTominay as they go down this difficult road.
