Manchester United star, Mason Mount was quick to take to Instagram, to celebrate the achievement of Arsenal midfielder, Declan Rice. The 25-year-old recently got his 50th cap for England and got to captain the team as he played.

Rice has been having quite the season with the Gunners making 39 appearances while recording six goals and seven assists. Mount on the other hand has not been so fortunate and has missed most of the season due to injury.

The Red Devils were after Rice before Arsenal swooped in and struck a deal for him. The team might’ve found way more success if it had been the England skipper arriving at Old Trafford instead of Mount.

However, we can’t blame the 25-year-old Red Devil for his lack of impact. Mount has been extremely unlucky with injuries and has only been able to make 13 appearances this season. He recently made his return during the FA Cup quarter-finals against Liverpool.

From now until the end of the season, Manchester United will be fighting an uphill battle. The Red Devils absolutely cannot afford to drop any more points if they hope to play in the UCL next season.

Now that he’s back, Mount can be expected to play a big role in the games ahead. If he finds his form from his Chelsea days, we might just see Manchester United pull off a miracle before summer arrives.
