Fans react as Manchester United unveil home kit for 2021-22
Manchester United have finally released their new home kit for the 2021-22 season. Images of the club’s new kit for the upcoming 2021/22 season have been doing the rounds on the internet for some months now. However, now the official announcement has been made.
The new shirt is said to have a touch of the past, using the colours ‘real red’ and ‘off-white’ in the latest design from manufacturer Adidas. The major difference lies in the front where former sponsors Chevrolet have been replaced by Team Viewer.
The home kit retains the three-striped pattern on the shoulder. As for the shorts, they are in contrast with the jersey, all white with red stripes on the side. Pogba and Rashford were among the players sporting the kits in the released images.
There is still nothing on how much each of the kits will cost as they are yet to appear in the Adidas store. United will be expected to don the kits at the weekend when they kick off the pre-season against Derby County.
While some fans were relatively impressed, a large portion pretty much wanted to see new boy Jadon Sancho in the kit. Here is how the fans reacted to the new Manchester United home kit for 20121-22.
