Fans react as Manchester United finally announce the arrival of Jadon Sancho

It has taken time and countless pleas from fans but Jadon Sancho is finally here. The English winger is back in Manchester but this time it’s to the red half. A montage of Manchester was used to announce the latest addition to our prestigious club with Sancho uttering the words, “This is my club. This is where I belong”.

A sizable £73million fee coupled with add-ons is what United have to pay to Borussia Dortmund. The deal was agreed in principle back on July 1. However, the medical and formal announcements were yet to be done as Sancho was with the England national team.

The player supposedly had his medical around 13th July, right after the Euros ended and the players went for their holidays. United very likely conducted all the other formalities during that time and kept it well under wraps to finally announce it today.

The announcement video sees Sancho in the new kit along with the history of Manchester. Then there are some moments from United’s history as well. It is well crafted in the sense that Sancho is a Manchester-born player and is returning to the city after 4 years in Germany.

Fans could hardly control their excitement when the announcement was made. Here is how the Manchester United fans reacted to the Jadon Sancho announcement.
