The Spaniard is said to be involved in a high-profile swap deal between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. However, his agent clarified that his future was still open and he will do what’s best for him.

Over the last few years, he has established himself as an important cog of Diego Simeone’s machinery at Atletico. Despite Atletico lifting the La Liga title last season, Saul did not play a very big part in that.
