Jadon Sancho to have his Manchester United medical before leaving for holidays

According to Daily Mail, Jadon Sancho will have his medical at Manchester United before heading off on a holiday. The Red Devils want to get the formalities over soon after England’s Euro 2020 campaign ended and the players head off for a three-week holiday.

Sancho and England have endured heartbreak in the finals of the Euro 2020 against Italy. He was one of the three players who have missed the spot-kick for England which ultimately handed the title to Italy. However, midway through the tournament, a deal for Sancho’s transfer was agreed in principle.

A sizable £73million fee coupled with add-ons will be what United have to pay to Borussia Dortmund. With the tournament now over, United are pushing to complete the rest of the formalities before Sancho can go on his three-week holiday.

The English winger seems set to have his medical as early as today, with United keen to wrap up the deal. Sancho will be heading to Carrington to complete the formalities such as medical tests and contract signing. Post that, he will leave for his holidays.

It could be a while before United fans see Sancho in action. There’s a good chance he might not feature in any of the pre-season games United have scheduled, given how deep England went into the tournament. However, he will be back before the season starts against Leeds United on the 14th of August.
