Manchester United release Adidas training range for the 2021/22 season
According to the club’s official site, Manchester United have released their Adidas training range for the 2021/22 season.
The new kits certainly appear to have been given much thought. That is clear especially given the details that have gone into the designs. The kit has adopted the red and black colour combo in cohesion with the red and white combo to offer a vibrant and eye-catching alternative. Both of these palettes are inspired by the club’s classic colours.
The new training range features a short and long-sleeved training jersey, a pre-match jersey, a zipped hoodie, an anthem jacket among others. It also incorporates the Adidas Climacool technology that wicks away moisture and keeps players cool.
According to Manchester Evening News, the club’s release montage also gave away an update on injured midfielder Donny van de Beek. The Dutchman looked set to travel to the Euros but was forced to drop out after getting injured.
He was seen in the gym at the Aon Training Complex continuing his recovery ahead of the upcoming campaign. Having endured a difficult debut season in England, it is time for the Dutchman to shine and show just why he was our marquee signing last summer.
He will hopefully use the summer to rest, recuperate and arrive for pre-season buzing. With the right attitude, he could make use of this summer to showcase just what we can expect out of him next summer.
The announcement for the kits comes just a day after it was announced that the club will be signing Jadon Sancho this summer. Whether it has been timed right to boost sales remains to be seen. After all nothing sells quite as much as a marquee signing that gets fans’s pulses racing.
