As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have completed the transfer of Donny van de Beek to Eintracht Frankfurt. The Dutch midfielder will be joining the German club on a season-long loan.

That’s not all Manchester United will also receive a small fee from Frankfurt and the contract also has a buy option. If Van de Beek does well the club can make him a permanent addition for €11m plus €3m add-ons.

The 26-year-old has often been left out of Ten Hag’s squad. The pair were good together during their time at Ajax but that hasn’t been the case this time around. While speaking to the media some time ago Ten Hag seemingly said that Van de Beek will have to fight for playing time at Manchester United.

If there is one person who will be happy about the whole deal, it is Donny himself. The player has been desperate for playing time and will finally be getting his wish once he starts to feature for his new club.

This is also an excellent opportunity for the player. If he can prove to Erik Ten Hag that he is still a quality midfielder he could revive his career with the Red Devils.

A lot is riding on this. Hopefully, the conclusion of Van de Beek’s loan is a positive for everyone involved. For now, fans have their eyes peeled as they wait for the Old Trafford management to get involved in the transfer window shenanigans.
