Manchester United fans react as Daniel James and Wales bow out of the Euros

Manchester United star Daniel James could do little as a dominant Denmark side dumped Wales out of the European Championship with a 4-0 thrashing.

The Red Devils star played 77 minutes before being taken off in the second half. One of his country’s best talents in the tournament, his substitution all but killed any chance of a miracle comeback.

Instead, the Danes would go on to score twice more to complete the thrashing. It would not go amiss to say that the scoreline was not flattering at all.

Semifinalists in 2016, Wales managed just win just one game all campaign this time around. Despite the disappointment, James did manage to stand out and give an account of his performances. The winger created more chances than any other player so far in the tournament.

The 23-year-old can now rest and recuperate ahead of the 2021/22 season with United. Hopefully, the experience of the Euros will have benefitted him going into his third full season as a Red Devil.

We take a look at how fans reacted to his exit from the tournament.
