Team News: Manchester United reveal 21- man squad for Europa League tie against AC Milan

As confirmed by the club’s official site, there is news aplenty in the Manchester United squad that is travelling to Italy for the Europa League second leg against AC Milan.

The 21-man squad has been reinforced by the return of four first-team stars. David de Gea makes his return while the injured trio of Paul Pogba, Donny van de Beek and Edinson Cavani have all been included.

Amad Traore is also a part of the travelling squad while Shola Shoretire misses out. Apart from that, there are no key surprises from the travelling pack.

The Red Devils go into the second leg having conceded an injury-time equalizer at Old Trafford. Simon Kjaer’s header gave Milan the all-important away goal going into the second leg.

United now have no option but to attack the Italians in their home ground. We have to grab at least one away goal in order to even the scales and stand any chance of progress.

One of our major problems in recent weeks has been the inability to find the goal. Hopefully, with the likes of Cavani and Pogba back, the tide will change for the good.

The grass is also green on the other side

Milan too are set to welcome back a number of players who were unavailable for the first leg.

This includes former United ace Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swede is set to return alongside Theo Hernandez, Hakan Calhanoglu and Ante Rebic. With the big guns back for both sides, it promises to be an intriguing contest.

The game also falls on the 22nd birthday of on-loan United starlet Diogo Dalot. Hopefully, it will be one of his less memorable ones.
