Manchester United fans react as Mason Greenwood extends Old Trafford stay until 2025
As confirmed by the club’s official site, Mason Greenwood has penned a contract extension that will keep him at Manchester United until 2025.
United also retain the opportunity to extend his stay by another year if needed. The 19-year-old academy graduate has so far made 82 first-team appearances, contributing with 21 goals and 10 assists. (h/t Transfermarkt)
Greenwood described the moment as a dream come true. having always been at the club, he is keen to push on and win trophies. (h/t Manchester United)

The youngster also attributed his decision to extend his stay to the faith he has in the manager and the club. With the club alive in three competitions, the 19-year-old may end the season having won silverware.
For now he is happy to continue donning the Untied jersey and in his own words, it putts a smile on his face.
“It’s great to play that many games for Manchester United, it’s put a smile on my face.”
