Fabrizio Romano: Manchester United have made final decision on Mason Greenwood amid FFP pressure

Manchester United have reached a decision on Mason Greenwood says Fabrizio Romano

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have taken a final decision on the future of their 22-year-old loanee, Mason Greenwood. The club plans to move on from the English winger and will be looking to shop him this summer.

The Red Devils plan on using the money raised through Greenwood and add that as a positive to FFP. Since the 22-year-old came out of the Manchester United Academy the club will be making a 100% profit on him.

However, the squad desperately needs a player like Greenwood at the moment. Man United’s forwards have struggled for quite some time now and a player like 22-year-old Greenwood could be the offensive spark the team needs.

However, it has become clear that Manchester United will be moving on from Mason Greenwood. Depending on how he develops he could be a big miss and possibly the biggest ‘what if?’ for the Red Devils.

The 22-year-old has made 32 appearances this season recording a total of 10 goals and six assists. Just a few days ago Greenwood gave an absolute masterclass scored a brace and got an assist against UD Almeria.

He is developing really well and could grow into one of the best forwards in Spain next season. United are surely missing out on a gem and it could come back to haunt them in the future.
