According to the club’s official site, it is yet to be determined if Manchester United star Edinson Cavani will take to the field against Everton on Saturday.

The Uruguayan ace suffered an ankle injury in our 9-0 hammering of Southampton last weekend. The injury was serious enough for him to be taken off at half-time.

Cavani has been in stellar form for United since joining the club on summer deadline day. Even if he is cleared to play, it remains to be seen if he will be included in the starting XI.

One player who looks set to return into the playing XI is French international Paul Pogba. The midfielder was rested for our win over Southampton and will be raring to go against the Toffees.

The player of the month for January, Pogba is in fine form and has shown his worth on the field of late. In what could be his last season as a Red, the Frenchman appears to be hitting top gear.

Left-back Luke Shaw too was taken off at half-time after a marauding opening half for the Red Devils against Southampton. The Englishman has been one of our best players of late and could return to the line-up on Saturday.

Cavani’s potential absence could pave the road for Anthony Martial to lead the line once again. The striker rediscovered his scoring shoes with a well-taken brace against the Saints.

Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has dismissed suggestions that he tuns the risk of being burnt out.

With Daniel James also finding his scoring shoes, it remains to be seen what Solskjaer decides to go with at the weekend.
