Manchester United fans breathe easy as Bruno Fernandes tests negative for coronavirus
According to the Express, Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has tested negative for coronavirus.
This comes after the Portuguese football federation confirmed that former United ace Cristiano Ronaldo has tested positive.
The remaining players underwent tests this morning, with all of them returning negative results.
Despite the initial result, players are set to be tested over the coming days. Ronaldo was pictured having dinner with his teammates yesterday. Hopefully, there will not be any more positive cases from the group.
Given the importance of Fernandes to our squad, both the club and the fans can breathe a sigh of relief at the news. We are not out of the woods yet and should remain hopeful there won’t be any unpleasant news in the days to come.
United face Newcastle United in the Premier League at St. James Park on Saturday.

There was no point of having these intl. games with the current corona situation. All intl games shouldve been abandoned this year.

With Martial out for 3 games, it looks like we won’t have Bruno Fernandes as well because on international duty. Ronaldo has tested positive for Covid-19 and unfortunately, Bruno was a part of that Portuguese team with Ronaldo.
