Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes reveals post-match routine

According to United’s official Podcast (h/t The Express), Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes has revealed the post-match routine that could suggest why he is such a consistent performer.

The Portuguese international has revealed that he watches his own performance back when he gets home after a game.

“I like to watch all those kind of details because I think details can make all the difference in football.”

To be fair to him, he has been one of our best performers since he joined the club in January. With 18 goals and 13 assists in just 33 games, he has hit the ground running and continues to improve.

While some may be satisfied with how the midfielder is performing, he isn’t satisfied and is seeking to do even better.

Fernandes struggles to sleep after games. He hence makes the best use of his time by watching his own performance from earlier.

“It’s difficult to calm down, so I come back home and start watching the game.”

According to the report, the United star appears to critically evaluate his performance. This self-assessment can help him iron out the creases in his game.

“I like to see the analysis and then I’ll see how many passes I missed, how many balls I recovered, how many long passes I made and how many were good and how many were wrong.”

A player who leads from the front, Fernandes has been the life and soul of the team on a number of occasions. Maybe more of our players should do what he does post-match.
