The supporters are the heart and soul of any club. Managers, players and even owners all come and go, but the fans of the club will always be there, paying their money and voicing their support. And although that gives them the right to show their frustrations, more often than not those in the stands will back their team.
However, tensions are high at Old Trafford this season, and those who follow Manchester United have had it hard to deal with. We now sit seventh in the table and our season looks dead, but David Moyes was always going to need time.
While I understand people getting upset about the displays, the news I read about our fans’ childish antics made me feel a little bit embarrassed.
Perhaps I am old fashioned, but when I read – via the Manchester Evening News – that our fans are planning to chip in to fly a plane over the ground this weekend during our game with Aston Villa, I could only think ‘how pathetic’.
Yes Moyes has struggled this season, but we need to give him time and all the backing we can. If he fails again next season then perhaps we can wave goodbye, but for now we need to stop the childish games and get behind the team.
Pretty embrassing to hear supporters attempt that,even the attack on SAF and the Moyes banner was very disturbing. I know this season has come short of what we expected and the fans' frustration is understandable, but we still need to hold our cool and support the club moreso at this time than never and uphold our dignity and loyalty as united fans and not bring ourselves to the level of other clubs' fans.
Moyes was a bad choice from start and after 9 months he has only confirmed that he's out of his depth at OT. He's Breaking all the wrong records and running the club down the drain. City, Real, Chelsea, PSG and Everton are excelling under new management ! Why not United ? He simply is not Man Utd material and must be sacked at the end of the season.
Yes for a fact you are old fashioned and now am convinced the whol man-unitd board is especially fargy! Thea is a limit to evry patience and man-utd funs are now stretchd to the limit. I bet my grndma would coach a title winning team to atlst top 4. Fuckn moyes would hav survivd pre-season frndlies at chelsea and real wthout a sack! Wev endured the the unspkable! Speak of fuckn tym,wat we cnt realise is tht pathetic moyes may be the wrng 1 n it would take 3 yrs to realise tht! By thn we probably wd be jus anaa mid tabl team. The 'giv him tym' system may hv workd wth fargy,bt it dsnt mean it wil work for evry David and Moyes…after all,i cn see the fire n hire system workn wel 4 real n chelsea. So save us the crap and give us the acnt no. 4 the Moyes out campaign so that we may contribute with our life savings!
