THREE Reasons Why Manchester United Should Forget About Van Gaal And Stick With Moyes

The Metro are today reporting a story that Louis Van Gaal is being tipped for the next Manchester United manager, which some fans will be relieved to hear. However, here are three reasons why I would forget about him and stick with David Moyes. Yes, I am being serious.

1) Need to give him time

We keep hearing that Sir Alex Ferguson didn’t achieve what he did over night, and that in the early days of his tenure he struggled to get results. I firmly believe that if Moyes is given time, given the money he needs and the support from the fans that he will succeed.

We have seen glimpses of brilliance this season and we know that Moyes likes to use the younger players, so I think we will be better for it.

2) Van Gaal in it for the short term

The Dutchman has never been one to stick around. Although he cut his teeth at Ajax and was there for a while, he has since hopped from club to club, and at 62 I can’t imagine that would stop if he came to Old Trafford.

I think it’s a dangerous game to start chopping and changing like Chelsea, though they have found success in that.

3) Premier League experience

David Moyes knows what the Premier League is about. He knows the league inside out and knows which tactics are needed to beat different sides. Although he has struggled this season next time round he should have a squad more to his liking, and I expect the club as a while to benefit from his decade of knowledge.

  1. Your preference is your opinion, not everyone will agree with you or why moyes was appointed manager considering he has no pedigree. And to be honest I'm a firm believer he is the wrong man for the job, but again that's my opinion. Van gaal may not be the right man either, but I bet you he would put up more of a fight than moyes has. Fergie and the rest of the mufc board are only standing by him because he was hand picked by the man himself. David moyes has turned mufc in to a laughing stock of European football in the matter of months, yet you want to give the man millions of pounds to invest in players. As if fellaini wasn't bad enough a buy?? . Anyway my point is let moyes finish the season then bring in a new manager, someone who has some sort of pedigree and then start from scratch

  2. I guess we don't want to go the hiring and firing way so I say give moyes time. And money for the best players if we are have to compete with European giants like our next opponents in Europe. Besides players should also do their part and restore pride in our club.

  3. I think he has been given enough time. He has had 8 months to work. Any other occupation and he would have been fired. If he was the CEO of a big company, his board would have kicked him out.and what experience are u talking about, he doesn't have a good record against any of the top sides. He couldn't even win against Liverpool when they were bad. The other new managers are doing well, and why should he be different.
I thought he was the right choice but not anymore.

  4. y shud moyes be givn mo time whn he can't evn win a trophy or close these man united players are de same1 who won de premier league last season n xtra he bought so if he can't win wit dis squard he wil jst go on buyin low profile piayers iyk fallein instead of player lyk Di maria 'real madrid', willian 'chealse'.
