Sunday will mark the first time that Sir Jim Ratcliffe will be watching Manchester United in action since his investment. The Red Devils will be taking on Tottenham Hotspur.
The Red Devils will soon undergo major changes as INEOS begins its takeover. All the early signs from the company have been very positive. First, Erik Ten Hag has had very positive conversations with their executives including Sir Jim himself.
The two of them see eye-to-eye and hope to see Manchester United reach the pinnacle of football again. There have been other positive signs from the new ownership as well.
Director of Sports at INEOS, Sir David Brailsford has attended all of the team’s games since the deal was announced. Reportedly, Sir Jim Ratcliffe is also expected to regularly attend games.
Manchester United will be looking to put on a strong showing at home as the Lilywhites travel to Old Trafford this Sunday. Both teams will be looking to come away with three points in this Premier League fixture.
Tottenham are currently fifth on the table and are eight points ahead of The Red Devils who sit at eight with 31 points to their name. A win here will help the Old Trafford squad get closer to their goal of a top 4 Premier League finish.
