Manchester United could soon bring FC Barcelona star back to England

As reported by Spanish Outlet SPORT (h\t Manchester Evening News), Manchester United along with Newcastle United are in the running to sing FC Barcelona star, Andreas Christensen.

It has also been reported that the team will move on the player during the summer transfer window as they attempt to bring him back to England. Christensen’s last spell in the Premier League was spent playing for Chelsea.

Manchester United could soon be saying goodbye to their own star defender, Raphael Varane if he leaves in the summer. Perhaps the Danish defender is a contingency plan if that ends up happening.

At this point, it is starting to seem like Manchester United is linked to all the players but are yet to make any deals. The only deals that the team has made so far have removed players from the squad without adding any.

Sergi Reguilon was sent back to Tottenham at the start of the window, this was followed by the departure of Donny van de Beek who is serving a loan spell at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Fabrizio Romano has also confirmed that Jadon Sancho will soon leave for Borussia Dortmund on a loan deal. A deal for Christensen is being met with a lot of scepticism as the team has yet to make any moves.
