Barcelona forward Ansu Fati ‘offered’ to Manchester United, Arsenal and two others
Ansu Fati, who plays for La Liga giants Barcelona, has been offered to Manchester United, Arsenal and two other teams in the Premier League, according to Sport (h/t Express).
Apart from the Red Devils and the Gunners, Newcastle United and Liverpool have also been presented with the chance to get the Spain international.
Jorge Mendes, the 20-year-old’s agent, is working on a potential exit for his client. To that end, the four English top-flight sides have been approached by the Portuguese.
While Fati is keen on succeeding with the Blaugrana, at the moment, he feels unwanted in Xavi’s team. The Camp Nou side have a lot of depth in the forward areas. As a result, the 20-year-old has fallen down in the pecking order.
In the 2019/10 season, the Spain international broke into Barcelona’s senior squad. He had an impressive start to life in the first team. However, subsequently, injuries have hampered the youngster’s development.
Currently, the Catalan outfit can call upon the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Ousmane Dembele, Raphinha and Ferran Torres in the attack.
Fati has made 37 appearances in all competitions for Xavi’s team in the current campaign. He has found the back of the net six times. The 20-year-old has featured a lot, but he has only nine starts in the league.
Man United have Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho on the left wing. The two have been impressive under Erik ten Hag this season. While the Spain international can play down the middle, we evidently need a more experienced goalscorer in our ranks.

Arsenal are flying high in the Premier League at the moment. Mikel Arteta’s team are first in the table. The Gunners have quality up front as well, with the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Garbeil Martinelli, Leandro Trossard and Nukayo Saka.
Therefore, it remains to be seen whether any of the teams offered Fati’s services will opt to pursue his signature.
