Facundo Pellistri and Anthony Elanga to be allowed to leave Manchester United on loan next summer
Manchester United duo Facundo Pellistri and Anthony Elanga will be allowed to leave the Old Trafford side on loan in the upcoming transfer window, according to Manchester Evening News.
The Uruguayan and the Sweden international have found game time hard to come by in the current campaign. Therefore, it remains to be seen what the future holds for them in the coming months.
Pellistri joined the Red Devils in 2020 from Penarol. Soon after, the 21-year-old joined Deportivo Alaves on a temporary move. He went on to spend a season and a half with the La Liga outfit.

In Spain, the Uruguay international was handed regular opportunities. However, he was unable to contribute much in terms of goals and assists.
Upon his return to Manchester, Erik ten Hag has hardly given Pellistri any minutes. He has made six appearances off the bench in all competitions in the current campaign. But the 21-year-old shone for Uruguay in the 2022 World Cup.
The youngster has shown glimpses of his talent under the Dutch manager. At the moment, the Old Trafford side have no intentions of selling the forward.

On the other hand, Elanga has been on the bench often this season as well. The 20-year-old made his way through the youth ranks at United and broke into the senior squad under Ralf Rangnick.
The former interim head coach regularly featured the Swedish national to play in the attack. However, with Ten Hag’s arrival, his fortunes at the club have changed. The youngster has started in just five Premier League matches in the current campaign.
