Manchester United to make ‘huge offer’ for Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot next summer
Manchester United are set to make a ‘huge offer’ for Juventus star Adrien Rabiot in the upcoming transfer window, according to Football Insider (h/t Manchester Evening News).
In the summer of 2022, the France international was a target for the Red Devils to bolster the middle of the park. However, in the end, a deal failed to materialise as talks broke down.
Now, the midfielder’s current contract is set to expire at the end of the season. As a result, he is looking for a significant deal as a free agent. The Old Trafford side are willing to meet the 27-year-old’s demands to acquire his services.
Rabiot made a name for himself at Paris Saint-Germain. He spent several years with the Parisians and was a pivotal member of their starting lineup.
However, in the summer of 2019, the French national joined the Bianconeri on a free transfer. The midfielder has been an important player at the Turin-based club as well.
However, in the current campaign, under Massimiliano Allegri, they are struggling. Off-field issues have not helped the Old Lady’s cause either. The Italian giants are currently 12 points off the top four in Serie A.
However, the 27-year-old has been one of their standout players. He also shone for Les Bleus in the 2022 World Cup. But Didier Deschamps’ team were beaten by Argentina in the final. Rabiot was also part of the French squad that won the 2020-21 UEFA Nations League crown.
Last summer, United ended up signing Christian Erisken and Casemiro to bolster the engine room. The two have been impressive and have established themselves in Erik ten Hag’s plans.

However, the Red Devils seem to lack depth in the middle of the park. We signed Marcel Sabizter on loan in January to reinforce our midfield ranks. Therefore, the Old Trafford side could evidently do with a quality player like Rabiot in their ranks.
