Real Madrid to receive official bid for Casemiro with Manchester United certain of midfielder’s transfer

Manchester United are going to send an official bid for Real Madrid midfielder Casemiro. The Red Devils will submit a €60 million fee with €10 million add-ons for the 30-year-old, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano on Twitter.

Los Blancos are seemingly inclined to accept the offer for their Brazilian stalwart. United are offering Casemiro a deal until June 2026 with an option for a further season.

Romano also claims the Manchester-based club are certain that a deal for the Brazil international will go through. A medical is supposedly set to be held in the next day or two. However, it hasn’t been booked yet for the 30-year-old.

Casemiro has won every major trophy with Madrid. The Brazilian has five Champions League trophies to his name. In his nine seasons with Los Blancos, the 30-year-old has been a vital part of every manager’s XI.

United fans will be rejoiced to see an established name come through the Old Trafford doors this transfer window. We appeared to be struggling to add fresh faces to Erik ten Hag’s squad.

The Manchester-based club have been successful in bringing three new signings in. The Red Devils have added depth to the defence. We’ve signed Christian Eriksen to bolster the middle of the park. However, considering the defeats in the first two games, the additions have proved to be too little.

United struggled against Brighton & Hove Albion. The Seagulls put pressure on our midfield players. Fred and Scott McTominay started Ten Hag’s first competitive game in the Old Trafford dugout and were unable to cope.

The Brentford game was even more disastrous. The Bees pressed us high and didn’t allow the team to play from out the back. Eriksen started in a deeper midfield role and wasn’t comfortable.

Casemiro is a robust number six. The Brazilian is known to disrupt opposition attacks in the middle of the park. The 30-year-old is also a compatriot of Fred and the two have thrived playing together under Tite.
