Manchester United will not terminate Cristiano Ronaldo’s contract

According to the Mirror, Contrary to reports that have been circulating in the media in recent days, Manchester United will not terminate the contract of Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

It emerged recently that Man United were keen on terminating the contract of the talented player with Ronaldo’s future really troubling the club’s plans. However, all these rumours seem false and the Red Devils are not contemplating such a move.

It is true though that the future of Cristiano Ronaldo is far from certain and has been so throughout the summer. It emerged that the Portuguese superstar wants to leave the club but no move has materialised so far.

Ronaldo joined the Red Devils from Juventus only at the beginning of last season in a move that was received with much fanfare. However, the move has not been as plain sailing as it was envisioned to be.

Manchester United had an awful season last time around failing to win even a single trophy last season. They failed to qualify for the Champions League and this is one of the main reasons that Ronaldo wants to leave.

Man United have not had the best of the starts to the campaign. They have been embarrassed by both Brighton and Brentford in the first two matches of the season and have a lot of question marks about them.

Ronaldo himself has been extremely poor by his own standards in the two games that he has played and seems to cut a very frustrated figure at Old Trafford. It remains to be seen if he makes the move away from the Red Devils.

The Portuguese superstar is a Manchester United legend, without doubt, but it feels like the relationship is turning sour at this point. Both parties will not want that to happen and will want to find the ideal solution.
