Transfer News: Manchester United are interested in Marcelo Brozovic
According to Fichajes (h/t Manchester Evening News), Manchester United have entered the race for talented Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and want to sign him this summer.
The Red Devils are not the only club interested in the talented Inter Milan midfielder with both PSG and Liverpool said to be keeping tabs on the player. With so many clubs in the race, the negotiations for Brozovic will not be easy.
A talented midfielder, the Croatian joined Inter from Dinamo Zagreb in 2016 and has since then been an integral part of the Nerazzurri. Predominantly a defensive midfielder, Brozovic can occupy a variety of roles.
Having won 74 caps for his country to date, Brozovic is vastly experienced. He is a mainstay in both the Inter and Croatian line-ups and is somewhat rather underrated considering his solid performances week in and week out.
Brozovic played 47 times for Simone Inzaghi’s team last season scoring three goals and providing four assists across all competitions. The 29-year-old started Inter Milan’s Serie A opener despite links of an exit.
Liverpool are very keen on signing the player but Manchester United’s desperation for a holding midfielder could mean that they actively pursue a deal for the talented Croatian international in the next few weeks.
At 29, Brozovic is at the perfect age. He comes with a wealth of experience in playing top-flight football that you cannot put a price on. He can be the defensive midfield presence that the Red Devils are craving for.
In the two matches that Man United have played this season until now, Ten Hag has shown the desire to play with one defensive midfielder and two interiors if possible. Signing Brozovic will help the Red Devils play the Croatian with Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes in front of him.

Man United need to buckle up and start making solid reinforcements. Brozovic will not be a bad start and I think the Croatian will be a good choice for Man United.
