Team News: Jadon Sancho is back in Manchester United training after suffering an injury during international duty
According to the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United ace Jadon Sancho has returned to first-team training after suffering an injury during international duty with England.
The 21-year-old, who completed his big-money move from Borussia Dortmund to Old Trafford earlier this summer, was selected by Gareth Southgate for the World Cup qualifiers during the international break.
Sancho, however, failed to feature in a single game for the national team after he picked up an injury during training. It was later confirmed that the Englishman had picked up a knock, and it was later announced on Saturday that the 21-year-old has withdrawn from the squad.
Thus, the winger then returned to United’s Carrington complex to continue his recovery process. However, the former Dortmund man already seems to have recovered from his injury as he is back in first-team training for the Red Devils.
This would be a huge boost for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who has a tough schedule ahead of him post the international break. The Manchester-based club are set to compete in seven games in the space of 22 days, and the Norwegian boss will need all of his men available for selection.
Moreover, Sancho could also use the minutes as he has featured scarcely for the club till now. The 21-year-old made his debut with an off-the-bench cameo in the season opener against Leeds United while he was also afforded similar game-time against Southampton.

The Englishman was provided with his first start against Wolves but was called off after 70 minutes as he failed to break open the Molineux outfit’s defence.
