Transfer News: Paul Pogba dodges questions on his Manchester United future

According to transfer news from MEN, Manchester United star Paul Pogba dodged any sort of questions regarding his future. The Frenchman was asked by Spanish media as to why he hasn’t joined Real Madrid. He wasn’t exactly surprised and did not answer the same.

If United needed a reminder as to why they have to keep their prized asset, France’s games against Germany and Switzerland in the Euros are proof. They might have been eliminated early but Pogba has displayed some tremendous skill with the ball that left everyone awestruck.

United, of course, have not been helped by the fact that he has just a year left on his deal. It is imperative that United agree to a contract extension over the summer. Else they will risk losing him for free next summer.

Ahead of going for a much-needed break, Pogba was questioned about his future. Spanish outlet El Chiringuito managed to pop an awkward question to him about why he was not already playing for Real Madrid. Unfazed by the question, Pogba clearly had no intention to answer that and somewhat dodged the question.

“I was expecting this. I want to say thank you all, I’m going to continue with my holiday and I have to go now because they’re waiting for me.”

Manchester United could make use of Paul Pogba in their efforts to land Real Madrid ace Raphael Varane this summer.

More Manchester United News:

For now, Pogba will get some weeks off to relax after a hectic year. However, United will be hoping that they can get their star man to commit to a long-term deal when he returns. Given the form he is in, it would be a real shame if they had to sell him lose him for free next season.
