According to the club’s official site, Edinson Cavani has won the Manchester United Player of the Month award for May.

The Uruguayan put together a strong end to the season that saw him net a goal of the season contender in our final home game against Fulham. He even scored against Villarreal in the Europa League final, taking the game to extra time.

With five goals in six appearances, it comes as little surprise that El Matador swept the award for May. Other United stars in the fray included Mason Greenwood and Scott McTominay.

Greenwood finished second with a 14% share of votes and McTominay was third on 10%. Hopefully, he will keep up his good form and continue where he left off next season.
