Manchester United fans livid as Edinson Cavani suffers fresh injury setback
Manchester United fans have every right to be livid following the news that Edinson Cavani is the latest player to suffer an injury scare.
The 34-year-old missed our last two games and was expected to return for the trip to the San Siro. He was back in training and was even named in the 21-man squad set to travel to Milan.
However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has since confirmed that the striker will not be making the trip as he continues to struggle with a new setback.
The fresh setback could offer another twist in whether the player’s contract is extended beyond this season. He is not getting any younger and there is little point in us keeping a player who isn’t fit often.

Cavani is displaying the biggest reason its not ideal to sign 30+ year olds for the prem. Yes he’s still lethal given a goal scoring opportunity but pretty pointless if u can’t stay fit. Some like ibra are the exception but in the main it’s not worth it.
