Manchester United fans react as Mason Greenwood impresses in Luton cameo
It proved to be a good night for Manchester United youngster Mason Greenwood.
Facing off against Luton Town in the third round of the Carabao Cup, United held a slender one goal lead going into the final minutes of the match.
Greenwood not only scored but also gave an assist to Marcus Rashford as the scoreline read a respectable 3-0 at full-time.
It comes off the back of what has been a mixed summer for the teenager. He enjoyed an excellent breakout season at United, earning himself a call-up to the England national squad.
But he was caught up in controversy off the pitch. This led to him being sent home from the national team. Hopefully, he has now learned his lesson and will do his talking on the pitch.

Mason Greenwood and Marcus Rashford came on at exactly the right time, Luton were tiring and with their pace and running in behind they linked up expertly for Rashford’s goal and Greenwood took his goal very well. Greenwood was the real spark in turning the game.
