Harry Redknapp backs Manchester United to finish in the top four
According to MUTV, Harry Redknapp has backed Manchester United to finish as high as third in the English Premier League this season.
The Red Devils have enjoyed a fine start since matches resumed last season. This continued with the struggles of Leicester City and Chelsea have helped us close the gap on not only the fourth spot but also third place.
“They’re in form, they’re playing well, I can’t see them finishing outside of the four. They could even finish third I think, the way it’s looking at the moment.”
With just three points separating us from the Foxes, all it takes is for one result to go our way. Interestingly we also face Leicester on the last day of the season in what could potentially become a shootout for a top-four spot.
United’s recruitment in January is paying off, with both Odion Ighalo and Bruno Fernandes chipping in with important performances.
The latter especially has been a guiding beacon of light. The Portuguese superstar has also made those around him better, including Paul Pogba.
The Frenchman looks a player reborn as he continues to strike an excellent partnership with his new teammate.
A return to the UEFA Champions League will accelerate our attempts to close the gap on both Liverpool and Manchester City. With just six games to go, a spot at the top table of European football beckons.

Chelsea looked to have made an early move to challenge the top two by moving quickly in the transfer market. All of that can come for nothing if they don’t make the top four.
United, on the other hand, have chosen to do their talking on the pitch. So far, no opponent has been able to come up with an answer.
