Klopp makes strong admission regarding Man United’s title challenge next season

Jurgen Klopp expects Manchester United to challenge for the title next season

According to a video uploaded by Football Daily on Twitter, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp admits that Manchester United will challenge for the title next season.

The German has also named Manchester City and Chelsea as other contenders for the biggest prize in English football.

To be considered among the teams mentioned above is a testament to the work that has been done by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. There have of course been moments where the faith was questioned. No fan can, however, deny that there hasn’t been progress.

“They all will be strong next season.”

United showcased the progress they made with a dominant 3-0 win away to Brighton and Hove Albion. Although it wasn’t one of the big boys, routine wins against Premier League strugglers were once something that we took for granted.

The Red Devils have also invested wisely in the transfer market in recent windows. The likes of Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka have considerably improved our defence.

Bruno Fernandes has been a game-changing signing for Manchester United

The real gamechanger however has to be Bruno Fernandes. The Portuguese hotshot hasn’t just proved to be a matchwinner but has also apparently reinvigorated Paul Pogba.

Add to it the improvement made by the likes of Fred, Anthony Martial and Victor Lindelof, and we can see that the club is slowly yet steadily strengthening.

The youth ranks haven’t been ignored either, with a number of young starlets shown faith in. The gem among them has to be Mason Greenwood who is clearly destined for great things.

United still are a couple of seasons away from seriously challenging for the title. There are still gaps in the squad that need addressing before we can meet the challenge.

Ole is at the wheel. Clearly the bus is now back on track and cruising down the road.
