According to the Independent, Manchester United could make a move for Raheem Sterling if Manchester City’s UCL ban is upheld.

It is very unlikely to expect a player to quit Etihad for Old Trafford. Recent success has seen the rivalry between the clubs peak and is today one of English football’s showpiece events.
However, should an opportunity present itself, United will be keen to take full advantage of it.
With City having been banned for two years from European football, the future of a number of their stars has been called into question. The clamours regarding the topic will only increase if the ban is upheld.
