Jack Grealish sends Manchester United fans into a frenzy on Instagram
Manchester United fans were sent into a frenzy yesterday by Jack Grealish on Instagram.
The Aston Villa skipper has been linked with a move to Old Trafford. He did little to calm talk of such a move by liking one of the club’s posts on Instagram.
The post was a throwback to our opening day win against Chelsea. The 4-0 hammering was achieved due to a Marcus Rashford brace followed by goals from Anthony Martial and Daniel James.
Supporters will hope that this is all the hint they need that the midfielder will be soon strutting his stuff at Old Trafford. Having already seen what Bruno Fernandes can do, pairing Grealish alongside him is a salivating prospect indeed.
Chief executive Ed Woodward had only recently admitted that the prospect of big money signings arriving at the club are remote. Grealish is one of the Premier League’s best young midfielders and is sure to fall into that category.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed a stellar season in the top flight. He scored nine goals and registered eight assists in 31 appearances before the season was suspended in March.
One concern, however, is his ability to get embroiled in issues off the pitch. Grealish landed himself in hot water last month when he was forced to apologize for flouting lockdown measures in the UK.
However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains convinced of the midfielder’s ability. He has been impressed by Grealish’s attitude and professionalism for Villa this term. (h/t Metro)

Manchester United have made a number of astute signings in the transfer market in the last few windows. If we do manage to sign Grealish, there is every possibility that he too can join that list.
An extremely skilled player, he will add a lot more dynamism to our midfield alongside Paul Pogba and Fernandes. It remains to be seen if he will indeed make the switch to Old Trafford in the coming window.
