Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to play Jack Grealish on the right wing
According to the Athletic (h/t Birmingham Mail), Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer intends to play Jack Grealish on the right-wing if United sign him in the summer.
The 24-year-old has enjoyed a brilliant season at Aston Villa in spite of his team’s troubles.
In spite of him apparently being a top target, there has been a debate on how Grealish can be included in the United line-up.
Solskjaer has an out of the box solution to allay those fears. The Norwegian intends to play the midfielder out wide on the right.
Grealish has only played on the right occasion with the majority of his appearances coming from the left or the centre.
United already has the impressive Bruno Fernandes in the middle while Marcus Rashford is a force to contend with on the left.
Grealish has made 12 appearances on the right wing, mostly for Notts County during his loan spell there in 2013/14. He made three assists from the position.
Grealish has netted 7 goals and 6 assists in 26 Premier League appearances this season. His acquisition would be an excellent addition to our attack especially after the success of Bruno Fernandes.
The Red Devils have enjoyed success in the transfer market of late and have made a number of astute signings.
