UEFA Europa League: Man United team news vs Club Brugge
After decimating Premier League rivals Chelsea 2-0, Manchester United now face Club Brugge in the first leg of the Round of 32 in the Europa League.
A tough test awaits us at the Jan Breydel Stadium. We cannot afford any slip-ups now since this is the dreaded knockout round. And the fact that Club Brugge are 9 points clear atop the Belgian league standings speaks volumes.
As per Manchester United’s official website, Victor Lindelof could make a much-awaited return. However, Mason Greenwood will be unavailable for this one.
Considering the youngster’s recent form, it is indeed unfortunate that he will sit this one out. But the report does hint at the possibility of on-loan man Odion Ighalo making his first start.
It is no secret that we have been without a prolific striker for a long time but if Ighalo puts in a convincing display, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might just be forced to rethink the team’s dynamics ahead of the upcoming league fixtures.
The report goes on to claim that Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba will remain unavailable for the foreseeable future.

When our team faces Club Brugge tonight, nothing less than a victory would be sufficient. Drawing or losing to the Belgian heavyweights would only make the second leg all the more difficult.
That said, let’s hope Solskjaer and his men are able to secure a win to establish a strong foundation ahead of the Old Trafford encounter.
