Manchester United keen on landing Barcelona youngster Jean-Clair Todibo
Manchester United are interested in landing Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo, according to Sport (h/t Daily Star).
The 19-year-old joined the Catalans at the start of the season and has only played three games for them this season.
The centre-back is one of the rising stars in French football and United are keen on signing him for £17m (h/t Daily Star).
However, United are wary that any deal for the Frenchman will include a buy-back clause too (h/t Daily Star).
United face competition for Todibo
The report adds that Everton are also keeping an eye on the defender. Carlo Ancelotti is the new manager at the Toffees and it will be interesting to see what their moves are in January.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has seen his United team play some inconsistent football this season. We have beaten teams such as Chelsea and Manchester City but have dropped silly points to the teams in the bottom half.
The latest result was a poor 2-0 defeat at the hands of bottom-placed Watford. We were never in the game and a howler from David de Gea gifted the Hornets the lead. Our defence also didn’t look all that great and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, surprisingly, gave a penalty away.

Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof is a decent pair, however, Todibo has the hallmarks to become a quality player in the future.
