Jose Mourinho Set To Meet Schweinsteiger To Decide On His Future Amidst Manchester United Exit Talks

Schweinsteiger

Bastian Schweinsteiger joined Manchester United last summer and was widely expected to bring in that control in the middle of the park that was present during the times of Paul Scholes.

The German international who has won every possible trophy with Bayern Munich and Germany had an unimpressive season with Manchester United, and now, his future is in doubt. In many instances United were boring for most of the season with their flaccid attacking approach and loosely controlled midfield. Many of the fans and pundits have blamed Schweinsteiger to be one of the major reasons for this and rightly so. The player has racked up one of the highest number of back passes in the team and otherwise has been injured for the rest of the season.

Schweinsteiger is now with the Germany team for Euro 2016 but will sit down with Mourinho and discuss his future. While the player was earlier admired by Jose Mourinho, it is yet to be seen if the Portuguese will want to keep the midfielder.
